Located on the Bruce Highway at Miriam Vale, 'The Big Crab' Miriam Vale Shell Garage is a must. Best known for their fresh, local mud crab sandwiches, the service station offers fuel, restroom, takeaway snacks and a dining area. Open from 6am to 10pm everyday. Located at Benaraby on the Bruce Highway, Caltex Boyne River offers excellent facilities including restrooms, showers, fuel, dining area and takeaway snacks. Drop in and experience their exceptional service and great meals. Open from 5.30am to 10pm everyday. Located just north of Benaraby on the Bruce Highway, nestled in bushland, the Cedar Galleries Artists' Village features the work of the best Central Queensland artists and craftspeople. Visitors can enjoy the artwork in the gallery, browse through the studio workshops, have a bite to eat at the Gallery cafe, or just enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Open to the public Thursday to Sunday 9.00am to 4.00pm. Group bookings are welcome! Drop into Mt Larcom Cafe and Collectables, the home of 'Big Mamma's' steak pies. Located just north of Gladstone on the Bruce Highway, it's the perfect place to take a break. Also on the Bruce Highway, Mt Larcom Produce offers grocery lines, gas refills and bait and tackle. Stop in and have a chat to the friendly staff when passing through the Region. |
